My husband wore this for a Halloween party at work and he had some pros and cons. For one I'd say its true to size but he is 5"7 so Idk if someone taller would have to size up to prevent high water because it seemed to fit my husband perfect? But other than that every piece was detailed and it was an all in one set and we didnt need to source extra material. He said he got a little hot so if you live in an area where it gets a little colder (we live in AZ) then this might be perfect for you. It didnt rip easily, was bright and looked almost realistic. I got a few mens costumes this year for my family and this one was almost an afterthought. But this costume ended up being the nicest by far. The materials are thick and feel nice on this one do not feel like cheap satin or like a cheap table cloth like the other costumes that I got. The stitching on this one is also very nice so we will probably be able to use this one for years. As far as size goes it may it seems like it's pretty true to size, but even if it's not an exact fit the pants have an electric waist and at the ankles so I would recommend to go up a size of your concerned about it being too small.
