I've struggled with atopic dermatitis and dry skin my whole life. Literally. I'd been using steroid creams for pretty much ever. When I found out that an underlying skin condition had evolved from excessive use of steroids I stopped using them immediately. Learning from others that had encountered similar issues, this product came highly recommended as I was told that it would help with the dry, itchy (like, OMG so itchy!), scaley skin through the recovery process. Since moisturizers typically make the condition worse, I was told that this would moisturize naturally. Guess what?! It did. I've only used it 3 times, no exfoliater, just the good ol' bar of soap and my rough sand paper skin feels and looks better. My skin recovery will take some time, but I am 100% confident that this soap will be my "go to" even after it has healed. Never in my life did I think I could live without moisturizer; to my surprise. It's very gentle, non-irritating and un-scented (there is a very slight scent) I like it... Smells like natural ingredients. I've even been using it on my 2 year old son, who has the same skin issues as I do, and this is the first time in his life that I haven't had to soak him in lotion. None. In just 3 uses!!!! I will definitely be looking into the rest of their products. Read more

This Dead Sea soap is very soothing to your skin either showering or bathing. One prior review said skin will be so soft you might not need moisturizer, but I think you do need to moisturize... good thing your skin absorbs the moisturizer better and leaves your skin very soft. Read more

Didn’t heal my severe eczema but I didn’t expect it to. And it didn’t hurt it. Felt nourishing and wasn’t drying. Had all the hang ups you’d expect from bar soap, like it slips around a bit (maybe more than average?) so make sure you have a good soap dish. It definitely takes longer than the average soap to lather up. Just add copious amount of water and really lather up. Really great soap for my eczema but not my holy grail or cleansers…the hunt continues! Read more

This bar is amazing. I struggled with acne starting at age 19 and six years later I found a simple yet effective way to cleanse my skin. I tried many other cleansers and methods of naturally cleansing my skin ie. coconut oil, lemon & honey, etc, and nothing worked without unfortunate side effects. I will say that diet was VERY important if not the most important thing. My body has a way of letting me know exactly what I shouldn't be exposing myself to by having my face breakout. I am now 90% Raw Vegan and paired with this awesome salt bar I am acne free. My skin is no longer crazy oily and does not get overly dry... it's perfect. It feels great having a solid foundation for my skin care regimen that is not filled with fragrances and weird preservatives. I still use a light moisturizer and sunscreen everyday. I love it and highly recommend! Also, I found this at my local co-op (which I am so grateful for) and order it from Amazon now since moving to a new area. Read more

I've been using this soap for years. Occasionally I stray and try something else but I always come back to this one. There's nothing strange in it, no scent, it's not drying. I use it for my face and body because it's so gentle. Believe it or not I sometimes use it instead of toothpaste, just swipe my toothbrush over the bar and go at it. Doesn't taste too bad. (I'm not recommending this but it can be done.) My skin is smooth and clear and non irritated--and I have sensitive skin and multiple allergies. It's a little too pricey to use for everyday hand and dish washing (for me, at least). For those things I use Kirk's unscented bar soap. Read more

The bar is small. This soap does not, does not lather. To even get the soap on your face, you must go over and over for it to stay. Save your money. I really wish it was what it said it was. CK Read more
