I tried these Dearfoams Men's Suede Indoor Outdoor Clog Slippers because they reminded me of the Uggs slippers that I have owned for years. Unfortunately the Uggs have been thru a lot and are showing their age and I figured it was time to get new slippers that were more presentable. The Dearfoams really are a clone of the Uggs Tasman slippers, for better and worse. The better is a soft suede uppers, adequate padding inside, and a thick sole. Except for the one thing I'll mention in a moment, they are very comfortable. The worse is the design of the heel. Just like the Uggs Tasman slippers, for some reason the Dearfoams decided to make the material on the heel very low, perhaps half the height of a normal pair of shoes. As a result the heels aren't high enough to hold my foot in securely, but instead cause my heel to flop out of them every once in while while walking. I'd prefer either a full heel (normal) or no heel at all (like a pair of flip flops) to this design. So overall OK, but they'd be much better if Dearfoams changed the heels on these. Read more
