Best toeless slipper I ever wore

MICHELLEβ€”January 24, 2026βœ“ Verified purchase

I wanted to write a review of these slippers after seeing many comments about being too tight. I find this comment strange as I normally buy shoes that are roomy. I found these slippers to be comfortable right away. Not too narrow, nor too wide. There is another brand of toeless slipper I've been buying from Amazon (Shevalue) that I found snug the first time I would put the slipper on, but within a day or so they would stretch out and fit just fine. Problem: the material covering the sole always tore from the seams and didn't last more than a few months. The rest of the slipper was fine, but the sole material would become completely destroyed, which made them unwearable. These Dearfoam slippers are a testament to the name brand. Not only do they fit well, right out of the box, but they are well constructed and durable. I won't be going back to the Shevalues. Read more

Love these house slippers! Cozy and seems durable

Tomyβ€”December 7, 2025βœ“ Verified purchase

So far so good! Lots of cushion and comfy. For those looking to understand size: they do run small. I got a L (9-10) and my normal shoe size is 8.5 and these fit perfectly. If you are a size 9 or 10, I’d go up a size if they make it. A size 9 β€œmay” be able to pull it off but there is no way anything bigger would fit. I am also normal width and they fit fine with one side of each slide having a small elastic band (see photo) to help with fit though if you have really wide feet you may find these slides to be tight. They're not kidding. Size up.

meβ€”April 6, 2023βœ“ Verified purchase

I have a different pair of dearfoams slippers in a size large that are too big on me (I usually wear an 8.5, or a 9 when half sizes aren't available), so I was fully prepared to buy these in medium and have them fit well after wearing them in for a few days. But there were soooo many reviews about how these run small that I went with the large instead, and man, even sizing up to large and wearing them in, they're still just a tiny bit on the small side. I don't mind it since I'd rather slippers be a little too small than a little too big, but you should definitely give the size due consideration when ordering. Anyway, positives: The microfiber terry material is extremely soft, plush, and comfortable. They're good slippers for indoors during the summer when the A/C is running, though I find them too warm for open-window weather. The memory foam insoles have enough density that they don't compress right down to nothing within a few hours like slippers often do. They're generally comfy and pleasant to wear. My one complaint - and I didn't see any other reviews that mention this so I guess I just got unlucky - is that they REEK. The soles have the same awful rubbery stench as soft plastic fishing lures. I could smell it through the two layers of plastic packaging they were delivered in, and the smell lingered on my hands after touching them. 10 days after receiving them I'm still getting very strong, very unpleasant whiffs of it several times a day. I'm not sure if washing them would help or if it would just taint the washing machine with their stink. It's not like your feet spend a whole lot of time near your nose, though, so it's not a HUGE bother, but if you're sensitive to smells, you may want to cross your fingers when you place your order. Comfy!

K. Homβ€”August 9, 2025βœ“ Verified purchase

Had to finally dispose of a pair of Dearfoam slippers I had for several years, they washed up beautifully, and always fit well. When I had to buy another pair, I was concerned the quality would be different but these are made of the same standards and quality as my previous pair - just a different color is all. I love the foam Dearfoam uses, it never bunches up and the material of the slipper never piles or tears easily. The soles are hard not soft but bendable and easy to walk in whether on the patio or inside your home. They wear very well. These are comfortable and offer just enough stretch. So happy to have another pair now. Read more

Odd Design

MissSeattleβ€”June 16, 2024βœ“ Verified purchase

I don’t have a particularly wide or narrow foot. They are pretty average. But these slippers feel a bit too narrow along the bottom and too wide in the strap. When walking, my foot slides too far forward so that my toes are hanging over the edge. You would expect that kind of width on the strap on a wide slipper but these clearly are not for wide feet. I’m gonna a keep them because I already wore them and threw away the wrapping but I would not buy another pair. Otherwise they are fairly comfortable with the memory foam but it isn’t as thick as I would prefer and think they will wear out quickly. Read more

The fabric upper on this slipper is WAY too wide on Velour but TIGHTER on the Terry Version

Martinβ€”December 6, 2023βœ“ Verified purchase

I've been wearing this style of Dearfoams for years, and until 5-6 years ago they were amazingly good slippers in fit and quality. But now, they have made the fabric top so wide that the slipper just slips around my foot after the 3rd or 4th day of wearing them in the AM's and PM's. I wash them weekly, and that will tighten them for a few days and then they are flopping again. The memory foam doesn't hold up now either. After about 4 months I have to trash them. Dearfoams doesn't care about good quality or fit anymore. The fabric itself wears really well and is super soft velour, but the foam in the sole, and the fact that the fabric stretches out so badly is not good. I do wish they would make a version of this with the old sizing where the fabric top was a lot snugger. Then make a version for people who need a looser top band. Dearfoams, please try to live up to all your advertising. Don't lie to us... Note about the horrible tag: Cut the tag out with a seam ripper, it takes some patience but it does come out all the way. NOTE: Amazon won't let me leave another review. So I finally ordered the Beatrice TERRY (the one with the diamond pattern top) and this version runs more narrow. It stays on my foot so much better. So I would increase my stars on this one to a 4. It could use better memory foam, and you still have to use a seam ripper to get the annoying tag off safely. They wash up really well. Read more
