Death Stranding 2 is an absolute masterpiece. From the moment you start playing, it pulls you into its world with stunning visuals, haunting music, and a story that’s as emotional as it is mysterious. Hideo Kojima has once again proven that no one else makes games quite like this. The gameplay feels smoother and more refined than the first Death Stranding, with new mechanics that make traversal and delivery even more engaging. Every mission feels meaningful, and the world itself feels alive in a way that’s hard to describe—it’s both desolate and breathtakingly beautiful. What really stands out is how immersive it all is. You sit down for “just a quick session,” and suddenly hours have flown by. The atmosphere, the soundtrack, and the sense of connection you build throughout the journey make it almost impossible to put down. In short, Death Stranding 2 isn’t just a game—it’s an experience. Thought-provoking, emotional, and endlessly engaging. Easily one of the best games of the year. Read more

One of the best Stern games I've ever played. Cinematic, graphically stunning, Amazing Story, interesting characters, and it's a Kojima game what more could you ask for. Read more

Really good game that captures the feeling of adventure and a little horror. All while having that weird factor and emotional core that a lot of us enjoy with the directors previous games (metal gear solid series). Can be really relaxing to traverse these landscapes, with occasional moments of tension to balance it out. Good improvements to gameplay. But this isn't a game everyone will enjoy. I'd say if you didn't like the first game, while this is an improvement over it, you should look up some videos online or just steer clear if you don't think you'd enjoy it. Hope this was helpful and enjoy the game. Read more

You will not be disappointed! This game is excellent. The sound track is insane I could listen to it all day. It is probably one of the best games I have played. Hideo Kojima has outdone him self on this one. I would give anything away but you will laugh you will cry and then cry some more. Great story line. Epic graphics! I would buy this again if I had to. I have about 100 hours into it so far and there is still much to do. Absolutely fantastic game. Read more

Gorgeous game! The visuals make it really easy to explore the map for a while. I'm about 40 hrs in and it's a fascinating story. Buckle up for an adventure! If you like narrative-driven, open-world games and don't mind that the gameplay is primarily about travel and delivery, then this is the one for you. Read more

UPS generator is essentially what this game is, but I poured 100 hours in it. Characters and story when it comes along is intriguing, but it’s how the game is choreograph is what makes it shine. Random moments but wholehearted. Building structures and repairing a broken world along other players is oddly delightful. Your playing alone but seeing others build and leave symbols across the game is a beautiful touch. Never truly felt alone. Read more

As of mid July this is easily the GOTY front runner. Literally a masterpiece. Great cinematic story/writing, phenomenal gameplay, insane visuals, smooth combat. This game has it all with next to zero bugs. I could see how the fortnight/cod crowd wouldn’t enjoy this game due to the toddler like attention spans and brainrot that community suffers from. It’s refreshing to play a completely original game with new mechanics and a fresh story instead of a remaster, remake, same sport game every year, generic soulslike, or fps COD clone. Also refreshing to see a AAA game studio release an actual finished/polished game ON release day instead of the Ubisoft method of releasing barely working buggy slop after several delays. As someone who enjoys single player story driven games DS2 is EASILY a 5/5-10/10. Read more
