I had such high hopes for these sandals and I can only say great things about them; they're so well made, look like they would last for 2K years! Nice beautiful leathers, flexible sole; the only problem is that even though it fit lengthwise, the sandal looked "massive" and masculine on my foot. For it to fit my slender feet the flaps would have to be about 3/4" shorter and narrower by 1/4". I toyed with the idea of cutting them myself but you can see the leather was die cut and it would have looked like a hack job. As is, when laced on properly the flaps filled up almost all the tops of my feet and there was very little lacing showing...and the lacing on top is what attracted me to the sandal in the first place. In my opinion these would be fabulous for men and for women with wide feet or even regular feet. For a low volume foot slender or narrow foot it's fine if you're not as fussy as I am about the "look" of the sandal. It's something I didn't think about until I had them on me. Anyway, I returned them and will maybe buy directly from the source, ie, Greece. Read more
