I know what you did last summer... Rode a motorcycle without sweaty hands

size: medium/large fit on me: a little loose. Like being able to pinch the tip of the glove. Not bad. Still fit "like a glove". I usually wear medium gloves. I got these pretty early in the summer since my last pair of summer riding gloves were about $25, lasted less than 2 summers, and were thin pieces of crap cloth that started getting ripped up by their own Velcro. They started looking like lifting gloves... These so far have been amazing. The gloves feel phenomenal and they have great protection too. They look awesome as well. On any of the hot days this summer I never had sweaty hands. I never wanted to ride without my gloves on. (this is a big deal to me) Even when I rode without my MESH jacket because I didn't want to deal with the heat and hassle of putting it on, I always wore my gloves. Always. They were easy to slip on without having to undo the wrist strap. AND they have wrist protection. Really cool in my book. I can see some spots wearing over time. There are a few cloth pieces that might not make it past 3-4 years. But by then I will have gotten my monies worth. I believe the normal mesh vs Velcro issues won't be seen with these gloves because of where the wrist strap is placed and how there are leather pieces where it counts. The price is great and the product was better. Don't pass these gloves up. Read more

Great glove for the money

UPDATE: Just purchased another pair after wearing out a $70 pair of Bilt gloves I got at Cycle Gear. These lasted twice as long and are 1/4 the price so I'm going back to them... I bought a pair of $60 Icon gloves at the same time as these, assuming the Icon's would be much better and I'd use these as backups. Wrong! I sent the Icon's back and have been using these for 6 months now for my daily commute (30 miles). They actually look a lot better in real life than these pics. I really like the weather flexibility with these as they are warm enough to wear on a cool morning (55F or so) and have been cool enough to wear on 80+ days. The offer good protection on the knuckles and decent on the palms. I have big hands and the L/XL size fits me really well. The only gripe I have is that the thumbs are a little too long and they tend to bunch up a little in the palm of my throttle hand over time. Still though, I like them better than the Icon gloves that were more than double the price. Definitely a good buy and I will probably order another pair when these wear out (likely a couple years because they are still in really good shape). Read more

SUPER comfy, but a few minor gripes

PRO's: 1. SUPER comfortable. Slip right on (most adult males' hands will be the L/XL size), soft, hardly any break-in required; 2. Excellent manual dexterity. Easy to manipulate the controls on my Harley and my Kawasaki; 3. VERY well-made (especially for the price). I've got gloves that cost literally twice as much that are only half as good. Leather is thick and reinforced in all the right places, plus padding in good spots, too; 4. VERY well-ventilated, perfect for riding in summer without sacrificing (much, if any) protection. The fabric bits between the leather sections really lets the wind zip right through. (WARNING: These are NOT going to be good for winter riding AT ALL. I honestly wouldn't try these on the highway at temps below 60 except for very short runs, or your fingers will freeze.) CON's: 1. Wrist Velcro adjustment is pretty much worthless. They didn't make the strip long enough to where you could cinch the thing down on your wrist enough to make a difference, so it may as well not even be there. It DOES, at least, feel secure enough in spite of this that it seems unlikely to go flying off your hand in a wreck, but it's still a useless feature; 2. BE WARNED!!!! One SUPER annoying detail is that they put a tag on these gloves saying the gloves have an "Anti-Theft Device," but they make it so hard to find that silly little magnetic strip thingy AND they put it in a place where it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to remove without cutting a hole in your brand-new gloves. Given, it's only in one glove, it's under the Velcro section, and you can remove it by making a 1/4" cut in the glove, yanking it out with a pair of needle-nose pliers, and then sealing the hole with a dab of Shoe Goo carefully placed in there with a Q-Tip. However, if you try to go to basically any retail store with those anti-theft alarm things at the front door while you're wearing or carrying these gloves, you're going to have to deal with the whole "No, really, I'm not stealing anything!" embarrassing hassle. (Found out the hard way. Jeez.) I can understand they package these gloves for retail sale in a regular store, hence the anti-theft tag thingy, but couldn't they maybe have someone zap (disable) that tag before shipping it out to folks who ordered the gloves online to avoid this? Overall, these are darn near perfect summer riding gloves, and for the price, they are absolutely AWESOME. Just knocking off one star because of the useless Velcro and the stupid anti-theft tag issue. Read more

Great price!

Some of the best gloves for the price! They have wear protectors on the fingers and hard plastic over the knuckles. I normally buy a new pair after every riding season because of the price. The large fit my average size had perfectly! I can’t still use my phone touch screen. They are not suitable for cold cold weather! Read more

Great gloves

I got these gloves off an everide glowing review as seen on youtube. I've been using them for a full year now, learned how to ride a motorcycle while covering 1500 miles of slow tight single track in WA. They are really comfortable, well worn in the shape of my hand. To be picky I don't think they look good as a Klim Dakar glove, but after all the riding these gloves have been through their look and feel is enduring. These are strong, durable gloves made with quality leather, at a ridiculously low price. Read more
