This was the perfect coloring for my burgundy cupcakes at my wedding reception! Sometimes food coloring affects the fastest of your food, especially rich colors, but not this one! It was gorgeous and didn't effect taste! So pleased! Read more

Fantastic color, quality, and non-altering in consistency. Tasteless vivid color with concentrated volume. Best color with a very small amount. Read more

Wow.....best black food coloring I've ever purchased. I was skeptical, but I had an order for a cake with a black vanilla buttercream base. Achieving black buttercream with no cocoa powder has always been difficult, and when I can it always tastes bitter. This product allowed me to achieve jet black buttercream with NO bitter taste. It didn't take a lot of coloring to get to black. Just trust the process! It wasn't black right away, but mixer on low and letting it sit for an hour gave me the best black buttercream I've ever made! I bought the super red food dye for a specific project but I love it so much and absolutely see myself using it for many more. Anyone who bakes and uses colors knows how hard it can be to get good, saturated colors. I wanted a deep red rose for cookies themed for Beauty and the Beast. I added a little cocoa powder to start with a slightly darker base than normal white and this food dye did not disappoint. Everyone was super impressed and I know I will be using this again for Christmas treats, Valentine’s cupcakes, and any other time I need such a gorgeous red. Highly recommend! Read more

The media could not be loaded. I took a star off because I needed to add edible charcoal to get a pitch black color. I bought this after reading reviews. I decided to use the editable charcoal after I’ve already used plenty of food coloring. The food coloring did make it black however it still had a gray hue once my buttercream became too soft. I realized I couldn’t keep adding so I compensated that’s not really an issue as I have used edible charcoal before to achieve pitch black but thankfully, I still had some left over to add in to the mix. I did taste it beforehand, and it did not change my flavor of the buttercream in anyway, which was a huge bonus. I also used it to turn the chocolate black starting with a dark chocolate base, and that worked exactly as expected. Read more
