I use this on my porch to hold my lovely citronella plant, and it looks gorgeous! The carved roses around the outside give it a really pretty look, almost like something you’d find in a fancy garden. It’s meant to be a trash can, but honestly, it’s way too nice for that in my opinion. The size is just right not too big, not too small. I have it sitting on a little table by my patio chair, and it fits in perfectly. I could also see it working great in a bathroom or bedroom if you actually used it as a trash bin. The design blends well with almost any space. It’s made of resin, which feels solid and smooth. It’s also easy to wipe clean. I’ve had a couple of days where it got rained on by accident, but it still looks great, no peeling or damage. The rose carvings stand out when the light hits it, which gives it a kind of shiny, fancy look during the day. What really surprised me is how much thought they put into the details. It doesn’t feel like a cheap item pretending to be nice. It actually feels like something you’d want people to notice. Definitely adds some charm to my porch. This trash can exceeded my expectations. It's truly beautiful with a sculptural quality. It's also unexpectedly heavy. Far heavier than any other trash can in my house. It's a soft white color that looks expensive especially with the sculpted flowers, which were all perfect (no chipped or cracked flower petals.) There's a smooth border at the bottom, but it doesn't extend high enough to prevent a robot vacuum from possibly bumping into the flowers. There are felt feet on the bottom, so it doesn't mar floors. The bottom is very smooth, but the feet are a nice touch. I'm using it with a liner since it's probably too heavy to lift and dump on a regular basis, plus I'm worried about chipping off the flower petals with regular dumping. I don't fold the liner over the top and cinch it down because that would ruin the look since the flowers come all the way up to the top of the can and around the lip. A grocery plastic bag works well for this with the handles rolled inside. I imagine if my house were dusty, it could collect dust in the crevices around the sculpted flower, but the whole thing could be carefully rinsed off—it would fit in my kitchen or laundry room sink or any bathtub. This is such a cute trash can design for next to a vanity, a bathroom, desk area, or even a teen girls bedroom. Holy mackerel it is HEAVY! I assumed because it was resin it would be a light silicone material but no it’s a heavy heavy material sort of like stone would be but the resin material. It’s carved in such detail it really is a beautiful trashcan. But just be aware it has some weight to it! I do like it and I would recommend. Based on the quality it’s a great value for the price.
