First things, first...The shoe is beautiful. My son loves how comfortable they are. They do run a bit large, so I recommend getting a half size smaller. I read previous reviews that stated this and I ordered a size 6 (my son usually wears a 6.5). Although they are made of a faux leather, the shoe upper still looks fairly good after almost 3 months. All of that being said, these shoes are nice, but they ARE NOT FOR EVERYDAY WEAR. I bought these as school shoes for my son and after the first week, you could see major wear on the heel. The sole and heel of the shoe are made from a spongy material that wears down rather quickly (nothing a quick trip to the shoe repair couldn't fix). I live in NYC and my son walks from school to the train and walks home. The material that this heel is made from is not built for that type of traction. The sole of one foot separated from the shoe as well (shoe repair to the rescue again). Unfortunately, my son's size difficult to find in this style of shoe, but my shoe repair guy does great work so they will last a bit longer until I can find a better pair. So, moral of the story is...if you need a shoe for a special occasion or event, for the price, these are a great choice! If you need a shoe to wear on a regular basis, like uniform shoes (especially if you will be walking outdoors frequently), spend a bit more money for a better quality shoe. Read more

These shoes look really nice! Several other reviews mentioned that they ran large, so I purchased them 2 sizes smaller than usual. My kiddo seemed to have a hard time getting his foot into the shoe, I think maybe the height of the shoe and how narrow the opening was, but they fit really well once they were on and we had no blisters or hot spots. Not sure how they would hold up for every day wear, but for special occasions they would work nicely and he did wear them to school after our event and they survived the day! Read more

I purchased the shoes and they ended up being too big. They were cute when my son tried them on though. Once I sent them back they claimed I sent back a different item! Becareful having to send it back. They recharged me and now I’m fighting to get my money back! Read more
