Very low in salt
We have recipe that calls for creamed corn as well as some canned tomato stuff. I'm on a low salt diet, and normal cream corn comes loaded with sodium. Low sodium canned tomato products are easy to find. Del Monte makes this no salt added creamed corn, but it's almost impossible to find in our local grocery stores (Walmart is the only one, and it's hit/miss). Amazon fresh has it though, so I bought a bunch. Watch out for dented cans - three of the many I ordered came dented. Amazon rapidly and easily took care of the problem! Read more

I add a drain can of drained whole yellow corn to it to make it thicker. It tastes good but I just like more substance to the cream corn. Read more

Amazing starter for chicken corn soup I add 1 of these - 3 cups water - chicken stock - pepper and one whole chicken breast raw in pressure cooker (instant pot) - 5 min pressure. Once pressure is released I shred the chicken and add back - add dash for soy sauce - vinegar and it’s the most amazing soulful, heart warming chicken corn soup. It’s a bit bland but what do you expect when it is no salt added. The regular ones are too salty and with this I can add what seasoning I want. Great to add to spaghetti and soups. Read more
