Their comments, as well as my thoughts are as follows : The pen is extremely light weight - more so than most pens. That is probably due to it being very slim. It's comfortable to hold. The grip, which has grooves is still a bit slippery, but still helps you maintain your hold. It's a ballpoint pen, so does not write as smoothly as a gel pen, but it also doesn't smear if you brush across what you wrote. 50 pens for the price point is very good. I'm picky, PICK-EEEE, about writing implements. And for just making notes, I'm a Pentel EnerGel kinda gal. Like I've bought these guys for prob over a decade. They're just NICE, and a known quantity. Until some private equity entity (amoral plague of a business model that it is) gets ahold of Pentel and makes their products suck, I'm sticking with them. These pens are most certainly not those. They're shorter, look like they have less ink, and most importantly, def don't write as smoothly. They just feel kind of cheap and junky in comparison. HOWEVER! These pens are also CONSIDERABLY CHEAPER. So for a situation where pens grow legs, or big group writing projects, and things like that, I could see these being a great option. Read more
