Dell G15 5511 Gaming Laptop - 15 6 inch FHD 120Hz Display - Intel Core i7-11800H 16GB DDR4

I am not a professional gamer but I needed a laptop for work since I travel and wanted to have the ability to still play some games here and there. So far it has done everything I need it to. Great performance while working and so far great performance while playing dead by daylight, sims 4, and genshin impact. Battery isn’t the greatest but can’t expect to game while on battery alone. Screen quality is pretty great for me as well as sound. I do like it has usb type c for charging my phone since everyone is starting to go away with traditional usb. PLEASE NOTE: the keyboard backlight is only available in the redish orange color not multi color RGB!!! This is not a setback for me but it may be for others. Windows 11 installed with no issues either and I am planning on upgrading the ram and adding more storage in the future. Like any new electronic just plug it into its charger and let the battery charge for a good 30 min before starting to get into the updating! Even though this machine doesn't have a touchscreen, I love it. It has been extremely fast and responsive and has a lot of power behind it. I would highly recommend it to anyone that asks. Good day, I bought a Dell G15 gaming laptop recently , having received the laptop on March 12th 2022, after unboxing and rising the laptop display screen for the first time , to my surprise it immediately came on without having to press the power button, after which It asked me to follow a few instructions to set country and language which the screen stayed in the cycling task saying it may take a few minutes for over 20 min after just receiving and only pressed English and country. After powering off manually cause there was no end to the cycling , the laptop came back on and prompted the same process and successfully completed, after I connected Internet and downloaded only 2 game client , tera online and lost ark online , I proceeded to shut the laptop down via the shutdown button . Arriving at work I opened my laptop screen again to power on and to my suppose it Auto powers on for itself even after I shut down previously. Here another problem came about where after pressing shut down and reopening my screen at a later point the screen Auto starts up without the use of the power button saying DELL then the screen goes dark and the laptop does not power on In order to get the laptop to turn on after the screen goes dark , a manual shut down is required by holding the power button for more than 10 seconds and then a press again to turn it on in recovery mode ,, another issue I am having is that the laptop is getting excessively hot to the feel just Watching movies and becomes worse when playing online games for more than one hr , this is becoming unexceptable as my older dell laptop does not even get this hot or have power on issues , I do not want this trouble for a brand new laptop I purchase please replace with a proper functioning laptop or refund my money for this faulty product. I pretty much have nothing but good to say about dell computers. Dell is all I purchase when it comes to PC's. They are, in my opinion, the most reliable out here. This particular laptop has good qualities. It's the 3rd one I've owned since laptops were invented. This one seems to get hotter than the others I've owned though.
