So far the computer has performed well, mostly as pertains to playing computer games. It can run planetside 2, and is a much better deal than equivalent computers I found refurbished on the Dell website. The running price there was a minimum of $360 on sale, with $420 being the usual price. The laptop takes a while to start up; I'd expect between one and two minutes. It runs fairly warm, so...as I intend to do for myself, you might want to buy a cooling fan to increase its performance under heavy use. Bought two laptops. One worked great the other not so much. I made the mistake of not thoroughly testing both. They both booted fine but one would corrupt the hard drive while just sitting there... Replaced hard drive, ram. Still happening. It has to be something with the motherboard. Waited too long (40 days) for a warranty replacement. My Bad. So from my experience you got a 50 - 50 chance... For a refurbished laptop it is fully functional. The company Linktronics, stood behind their product. Keyboard needing replacing and there was no functional web cam. The company sent both the web cam and keyboard without having to return the product for repair. Read more
