This faucet was promoted as a favorite on Amazon, and it does present a solid, sturdy look and feel, with a more dominant presence in the bathroom than I anticipated. However, the relatively narrow, screened faucet opening disturbs the water flow so that, by the time the water hits the sink surface, It has a stuttering perturbation that feels a bit like a drill, and causes major splashing all over when it's interrupted by your hands. You might think that such an experienced major faucet manufacturer would have enough knowledge of fluid dynamics, and ability to test the functionality of their faucets, to not release something with such an obvious problem. In addition, there's quality control: the first one of these faucets I received was defective, with a blockage somewhere in the water flow, so that only a light trickle emerged. Unfortunately, there was no way to know this until my professional plumber had already installed the item. So I had to pay the plumber for the removal of the old faucet, the first installation, the removal of the defective faucet, and the new installation - which cost me more in additional labor than the entire cost of the faucet itself. Overall, this was a disappointing and expensive experience. Delta down. Read more
