Oh my god! Where have you been all my life? I was looking online for a pure mineral loose powder that is good for my sensitive and rosacea prone skin. I think I found it! I had only the minerals and none of the bad stuff other companies put in their so called mineral powders. Don’t buy anything g with silica or talc or Bismuth oxychloride. Demure has mica and zinc oxide and titanium dioxides as well as the minerals to tint the powder like iron oxide and ultramarine. Mica is even purported to kill demodex mites which are a factor in some rosacea. So feel super good about using this beauty product that not only feels and looks great but is good for your skin! …..Update…. I haven’t tried the samples sent, but a nice lady emailed me after reading my review asking if she could send me a sample. She seemed genuinely upset and caring. She sent me 4 samples light, medium, medium warm, & tan. I’m thinking the medium will work even though I’m so light skinned but the light was super white almost. I definitely feel being able to try the samples was worth $25. I don’t feel I wasted my money… just got less than I expected but it’s 2021 so I’m getting use to that. I don’t feel as bad spending the money on this product since I can use the samples and give someone else the darker colors. The samples are bigger than the concealer, but smaller than the regular product. It will last me a long time and then I’ll know the right color when I reorder. I remember along time ago it blended very nicely with my skin & it didn’t look like I had make up on. The colors that don’t work I can give to one of my friends that tans easily. I’ve used it in the past and she says they did not change the formula, so it’s just matching my skin to the correct color. I use to love this product. I’ll try to update later, but based on this ladies kindness and how I remember the product years ago, I’m giving it 5 stars. I just wish the lady on the phone warned me the light is extremely light. I just want to warn you guys. I used this years ago and I liked it, so I called for a recommendation on a shade. It’s been years ago but they were at Sam’s Club and I never saw it again after I ran out. I am usually not the lightest color but usually the second lightest. I’m pale but not as light as this make up looks. It’s hard for me to find good make up because I’m very light skinned with pink undertones. I called to see what colors I should order and the girl wasn’t helpful. She seemed to be bothered by my call. I bought the recommended color and it’s absolutely horrible. It’s so white like a translucent powder. I shouldn’t have called and I should have gone with my gutt and ordered the second lightest color. I wouldn’t recommend ordering or calling for help unless you know your shades. It doesn’t look good in person or photos… I look ghostly or sick. And I spend a very long time trying to blend it. After trying many higher priced mineral foundations and finding that they settled in fine lines, irritated my skin and gave me a caked on appearance I decided to give this a try. It is by far my favorite foundation! Goes on light but has good coverage and does not settle in fine lines nor does it irritate my extremely sensitive skin! Will not use anything else.
