This denim vest is super cute and the quality really nice. The material is super stretchy, not at all a stiff denim, but it is definitely a very slim fit. I’m typically an XL but sometimes an XXL depending on the cut/material. I went with the XXL in this and it fits comfortably due to the stretch but I personally would like a bit of a looser fit. Unless you’re specifically going for the almost corset-like fit (though obviously more comfortable) I would suggest sizing up one or two sizes. The silver lining is that it is a versatile piece in that it can be worn both buttoned and unbuttoned depending on the look you’re going for. the aged look of this vest is remarkable. It is faded in all the right places. The construction is flawless and the fit is to size. My Grand Niece loves this style and era of clothes as do I. It laundered well, I did hang it to dry just in case and no ironing was required. It’s a medium weight jean material that is soft next to the skin but holds its shape perfectly. Overall, this is a cute denim vest. It is great for layering. However, the listing photos suggest it’s modest enough to wear alone. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The V front comes down below my bra. It would not be appropriate to wear without anything underneath unless you’re looking for something to show off some serious cleavage with a low plunge bra. Because of this, I’m taking off a star from my review just for a misleading listing. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star product. At the time of my review, this vest was selling for about $30. The price isn’t that bad for the quality. The material is super soft and comfortable. The fit is slightly loose for the size, so if you want it to be more form fitting, size down.
