I have used a variety of different floss picks over the years, because my teeth just seem very prone to getting things stuck between them whenever I eat. These are very durable. I have gone through two packages so far without a single break in either the floss or the pick itself. The floss also stays taught rather than stretching or loosening like some other brands. These are eco and health friendly. I have always wondered whether abrading plastic against my teeth multiple times per day might lead to health problems from ingesting a small amount of plastic microparticles over a long period. Now I don't worry because these are made from cornstarch. I bought the charcoal ones (mint was out of stock when I ordered) and they honestly taste completely neutral to me. I actually find that I often prefer this to having a mint flavor, as I find mint can be an unpleasant taste if you've just eaten something savory. They just don't taste like anything, which is better than some of the funky mint flavors found in other brands I've tried. Moving forward I'm only buying these. It sounds like such a minor thing, but for someone who feels the need to compulsively use a floss pick after every meal, these are a huge quality of life upgrade over other options. Read more
We bought these picks because of the decline in quality of the more expensive ones we had been using. They are excellent. The floss is thin enough to get between the teeth but strong enough not to break. Highly recommend. Read more
These ones are flimsy compared to there double string ones. Always better than teflon flossers! Read more
I really really loved this brand of floss when I first started buying it and I would have given it 5 stars, but they've changed it a bit since then and it's not as good in my opinion. The previous version of this floss slid very smoothly in between my teeth, it was perfect. But the new version is incredibly hard to get in, to the point I can't even floss some of my back teeth. I don't know if my teeth are just packed super tightly together or what but I never used to have this problem with this brand, which is one of the reasons I loved it. Also, on the new packaging, they state on the back of the bag that you should rinse and save your floss for later use...This is NOT good for dental hygiene and shouldn't be promoted. There is much more bacteria in between your teeth than there is simply on top of your teeth or in your mouth, which is why it's okay to reuse a toothbrush but not floss. I love that this brand is eco-friendly and wants to be sustainable by promoting the reuse of floss, but this is not healthy and can contribute to dental diseases over time, so please don't do this. Overall, I really liked this brand at first, but I wish they would go back to their previous version where I could fit the floss between all my teeth, and remove the part on their packaging about reusing floss.
