These floss picks used to be excellent. Sadly, they are made differently now and continuously snap at the same exact place every time. It sometimes takes 4 or 5 picks to get through an entire round of flossing! I have very sensitive gums and I floss extremely gently, so it certainly isn't that I'm handling them too roughly. I started buying these picks about 4 years ago and I've only encountered this problem with this most recent batch of bags. The picks do feel a tiny bit thinner than they used to, and the packaging has changed as well, so it's obviously something with the manufacturing process. I won't be purchasing these anymore. I’m really impressed with these eco-friendly dental floss picks! They’re incredibly strong—they didn’t shred or split, even between tight teeth. The mint flavor is fresh without being overpowering, which was a plus. Love a product that works great and is better for the environment. Read more
I was super excited to find these and was so excited when they arrived. I attempted to used them for a few days but had to return them. The pick on the end breaks the first time you use it -- I repeatedly attempted to use these for more than one tooth being very gentle and sometimes I could do 2-3 teeth before it snapped. The floss doesn't break but the holder does - I could not use only one pick when attempting to floss, it took several. I use these for traveling and if I brought the entire bag with me, I could probably get through a one week trip. Not a good value, I don't recommend them. Picks kept breaking! I tried half a dozen times to floss my teeth and I didn’t get many teeth done when the pick continued to break! Very frustrating! I ended up using regular floss. Would NOT recommend if you have tight teeth. Read more
I really wanted to like this item, I wanted an alternative to normal floss and the plastic picks. I thought these would be the perfect answer, if they would work without breaking. They are so incredibly fragile and really any force applied they just snap. I go through about 4-6 in just one sitting because they break so easily. I did like the coated floss part and the toothpick end is very sharp, but I feel the fragility of these just negate everything about it. Read more
I searched way too long for biodegradable floss picks. I wasn’t about to pay $15 for 30 picks just because they had an “eco friendly” stamp on them. Most of them looked ridiculously flimsy. So glad I found these! Just the right amount of minty, floss is sturdy, handle is sturdy, and the design for the pokey part (how it curves) is something I never thought I’d have a preference on, but totally makes a difference. Lots of bang for your buck, especially for being biodegradable & eco friendly. These are now my go-to floss picks. Read more
