Slightly thicker and less flexible than the ones given at the dentist's office, but the sturdier shape and hooked end allows for an easier threading these between braces wires. Recommend! I floss frequently, but struggled severely when I ran out of threaders at home. The fact that these come in individual paper packets with 10 each allows me to keep one on my desk without having all of them out at once, which I really like! If I had a friend with braces, they'd be very giftable to them.
