I got a 8 month old chi-weenie puppy recently and wanted to use what I usually use on my other dogs, greenies. Unfortunately she was not a fan of them because of the mint flavor so I did some research and came upon these. I figured since they are more of a regular dog product flavor (like beef, chicken, etc.) she would like them. I also always try to stick to purina since it was explained on how good their products are for dogs, from an employee at a local dog shelter. Now as far as the product goes, my puppy does eat them, however since her mouth is so small, they're really tough dental sticks for her. I looked up on how to soften them and what I did was cut each stick into 4 bits (which was tough too with a kitchen knife) and put them in a glass jar, poured some very warm water to cover them all, tightened the lid and left it for 5 minutes. By the time I came back they were all expanded and soft, so mixed it in her food. I think if you're a pet owner and willing to go this far for your pet, these are worth it. Read more
