This 0.25mm derma roller has a serum reservoir, which is convenient, but the single-side roller design limits flexibility during use. Compared to ball-style applicators, it doe not roll as smoothly, making the motion feel less natural on curved areas of the face or scalp. This also limits the effectiveness. The titanium needles are fine for light treatments, but overall usability could be improved with a smoother, more balanced rolling mechanism. Read more

Unfortunately for the derma roller just doesn’t glide well and gets caught up. It made a mess of my serum and really isn’t user friendly. I think I prefer my plain derma roller after applying serum directly to my skin. I also don’t like that it’s not that easy to sanitize between uses. With a better design this could be a great product. Read more

I wanted to love this serum dispenser because the design and size are great. It is about 5 inches long, which makes it comfortable to hold. I recently ordered a different one that was only about the size of my thumb, so this one seemed like it was going to be much better. Unfortunately, the instructions in step 3 say to take the lid off the vacuum tube, and no matter what I did, I could not get it open. I struggled with it for a good half an hour, and it would not budge. Without being able to open the tube, you cannot add serum, so the product cannot be used. It could just be mine, and others may not have this problem. If the vacuum tube opened properly, this looks like it would be a great product. The idea is good, the size is right, and it feels like it could be very useful, but as it is, mine was disappointing. Read more

I was really excited to try this, because while I use a powered microneedling pen monthly, I like to use a mild roller several times a week to help absorption of certain serums, like growth factors. This device is designed to make it easy to apply the serum and roll at the same time, eliminating the need to roll and then apply serum with fingers. However, it seems to have a couple design issues that, if addressed, would make this a five-star tool. Another reviewer mentioned being unable to get the top off the serum reservoir; I found it difficult but did manage to get it open. Once full of serum (for the test I used a relatively inexpensive growth factor serum with an average viscosity) I put the device back together and started to pump the bottom as instructed. I worked at it for a long time and even checked several times that I had reassembled it correctly, but I could never get any serum to actually pump out. I have no issues with the roller. It works well, has sharp and evenly-distributed microneedles, and rolls smoothly. In essence, it acts as a regular microneedle roller, so I can still use this for the life of the microneedles as I would a regular roller. Read more

I’ve never used an infusion roller before, and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work. The instructions for use are on the box, and in step three it says to remove the lid from the vacuum tube. I could not get the lid off no matter what I tried. This meant I could not add my serum and use the roller. There is another reviewer that had the exact same problem. Based on this, I believe this product is defective. I am disappointed. Read more

The derma roller is easy to use and I like the idea of the built in serum reservoir, it makes the process less messy. The 0.25mm needles are gentle enough that it doesn’t hurt, and it feels decently made with titanium needles. However, I haven’t noticed much difference in my skin or hair yet after a week of use. It may take longer to see results, but for now, it feels more like a nice add on tool rather than a game changer. Read more
