I got the VANKEPYO Derma Roller to help with some hair thinning, and it's been a simple, low-key tool in my routine. The microneedle size is adjustable which is really cool. I suggest starting at 0.25mm which is designed for home use and is a good starting point. Spend time researching this technique if you want it to be effective. Now, the roller is actually a stamp as you don't roll it, you, ... stamp it. It is still easy to use and feels gentle on my scalp. The device handle has a reservoir to hold products like Minoxidil, which is what I am using. What's really important is that the derm stamp is sanitized and the area being stamped should be too. You are basically putting small needles into your skin, and you want to avoid infection. The reservoir has a cap so you can save the product for the next session and still clean the needle section. The price point seems reasonable. Overall, it's a no-fuss product that makes derma stamping with serum more convenient. Read more

Microneedle Derma Roller - I like this one better than my one that rolls. I like to use this all over my face and on my hairline/scalp. The one that rolls is hard to use on the hairline/scalp because my hair keeps getting caught up in it. This is why I like this one. I can "stamp" around my hairline and scalp and my hair doesn't get ripped out. It's easy to use, made well, and you can put serum or such in it. However, the serum I use is on the thicker side so it doesn't come out as I'm stamping. What I've been doing is stamping and then applying serum right after. The best part of this dermal stamp is that the needles are adjustable. You just twist the head of it and adjust the lenght of the needles to your liking. The box says it's a one time use, but I have been disinfecting it and reusing with no issue. Read more

Really loved the idea of this tool, but once I used it, discovered that the liquid doesn't come out were the needles are. The liquid drips out of the side of the plastic, making a mess, which is what I was hoping to avoid Read more

I am in my late 40s and quite serious when it comes to my skin regimen. I use many products to optimize my skin health. While I’m not an aesthetician, I decided to order this micro needle derma stamp for home use. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. I like that the product is light. It is made entirely of plastic except for the silicone cap. 2. It’s a pretty small derma stamp. 3. This product disappointed me because I thought that it’s a reusable derma stamp. However, the box states that it’s for single use only. Had I known that, I most likely would have passed ordering this product. 4. There is a reservoir where you can put in your skin product. This also confuses me because it says that I can use the stopcock to save any remaining product in the reservoir. If this derma stamp is single use only, then there is no need to have your skin product left over in the reservoir because you’re going to dispose of the whole thing. 5. I thought that they could have done a better job when it comes to the instructions. The instructions on the box itself are very simple. 6. I am unsure whether this product is sterile. I suggest sanitizing or sterilizing this derma stamp especially if you somehow plan to reuse the product. 7. I have very sensitive skin and the 0.25 mm needles didn’t irritate my skin after use. I used it on my face. The product page states that it could also be used on the scalp area. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I was quite excited to order this product because I haven’t tried micro needling before. However, I don’t feel that this device is cost-effective because it’s a single-use device per the box itself. I ended up putting it back in its box afterwards, but I have no plans on reusing this derma stamp until the manufacturer clears us up whether this is a reusable item. Read more

This is exactly what I needed! It comes with a little dial that allows you to start at whatever size needle you want, and that feature works great. It goes in increments of 0.25mm. In the pictures, I took one of the lowest and highest settings. The lowest is 0.25mm, which is tiny. The highest goes all the way to 3mm long. It’s also super easy to clean, and it’s small so it doesn’t take up much room on my countertop. I’ve been using rubbing alcohol to sanitize between each use. My only complaint, and reason for taking off a star, is the serum feature. You’re supposed to be able to fill the bottom up with serum and make it come out by pushing the button in the bottom. Sounds great in theory, but the holes are so thin that I can’t get anything to come out unless it’s the consistency of water. Not even my thinnest serum would squeeze itself through. This isn’t a deal breaker for me though, because it’s still a great product for the price. Plus you can just use serums by putting them on your skin first to get the same effect. Overall, I think it’s great quality for the price. I highly recommend if you can’t afford a fancy one, and you’re okay with not relying on the serum feature. Read more

I love that this derma stamp comes with a separate cap for the serum bottle. This makes it easy for me to mix my hyaluronic acid earlier in the day and keep it in the fridge until I'm ready to use it in the evening. The adjustable needle depth is nice, though I keep mine at .5mm, enough to penetrate but not so deep that I have to worry more about infection. I do sterilize the needles by soaking them in isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes and letting it air dry, besides cleaning my face with chlorahexadine soap before stamping. Overall, it's easy to use and the needles have stayed sharp through 3 uses over my full face, though realize every time they're used, they become more dull, as is the nature of needles. Read more
