So not having used one of these before I was curious. I have a friend whose family members happen to get a lot of facial treatments done very often and this is one they go into the office for. I remember seeing a picture of their face afterward and it looked like the worst sunburn I had ever seen. I guess everyone has their limits. Yes, I want to try new things so I don’t look old, but I also have to ease in to it. I got this to give it a go. Everyone says it doesn’t hurt. They’re lying. Just being honest with you. Yes, no pain is no gain. I do believe that, and I can take pain, but these little sharp needless literally make my eyes water as I’m rolling this around my face. I just keep repeating “no pain, no gain”. The roller was wrapped, and came in its own case. I make sure and clean it with alcohol or soap and water after each use. I use it the way I use any other face product and go in the direction I want my skin to pull wrinkles. Inside out. From nose and drag to ears and cheek and up, etc. I do it very light but pic will show it still leaves my face red, which is the point. It’s very easy to use and ultimately I like the appearance of my skin and face after using this almost every night or every other night for 3 weeks now. My dark circles aren’t as dark and my fine lines in my forehead aren’t as noticeable. I also feel it’s doing a great job absorbing the product I’m using. I like the roller, I’m not worried I’m going to go bonkers and roll it into any other parts of my face. It’s good quality and was a good value. I also use it on my neck to see if the chickens fly away. I can keep you posted on that one. Read more

This derma roller comes in a sturdy hard plastic case that keeps the head protected and easy to store, which I really appreciate for a tool with tiny needles. The roller has a pretty teal color and a clean, simple look that feels a little more elevated than I expected. The handle has an ergonomic shape that fits nicely in my hand, and it gives me good control without feeling heavy or tiring to hold. I hadn’t used a roller like this before, so I wasn’t sure what the sensation would be like, but it definitely has a noticeable “prickly” feel that’s tolerable as long as you take your time. The needles appear uniform and the roller turns smoothly as you move it across the skin. I’ve been using it gently in my routine for several weeks now, and the needles still feel consistent - they haven’t bent or dulled, and the roller head hasn’t loosened at all. Cleaning it has been simple: the smooth plastic handle and compact head rinse easily before I return it to the case. The case itself snaps shut securely, which keeps the roller protected until the next use and makes it easy to store in a drawer or travel bag. For anyone curious about trying a microneedling-style tool at home, this one is straightforward, easy to use, and feels sturdy for beginners. Read more

I decided to try out derma rolling to see if it would help with my mild acne and just generally improve my skin texture. Since I was a total beginner, I wanted something that seemed simple, and this roller is definitely it. The ease of use is straightforward. It has a good weight and the handle is ergonomic, so it's easy to control. The overall quality feels solid for the price, and the needles seem to be fine, which is what you worry about most. I was expecting the pain level to be pretty high, but I was surprised. It’s not painful, just a slight tingling, prickly feeling. I just made sure to be gentle and not press down too hard. I've been using this for a little bit now, and I've noticed my skin has a new softness to it, especially the morning after I use it. My main skin issues are mild acne and some irritation from seborrheic dermatitis, and while this isn't a magic cure, it feels like it's helping my serums absorb better. The cleaning power is simple enough; I just make sure to sanitize it properly with alcohol before and after every use, which is a critical step. For what it costs, this is a fantastic value. It's an inexpensive way to step up my skincare routine at home. Read more
I've heard fabulous things about what derma rollers can do for your skin, but I've hesitated to use them as the idea of rolling needles on my skin sounds painful. I'm happy to report that it's not nearly as unpleasant as I imagined. Yes, it is prickly, and it's a bit uncomfortable, but it's not bad. Immediatley after using, my skin gets red and feels irritated, but by morning it looks fine. It doesn't draw blood. I think this does help my skincare products penetrate better and it makes my skin feel more energized. I wouldn't use this at the same time as harsh actives, such as acids or retinol. This device comes in a plastic storage case, and seems to be good quality. It's a great value for the price. Read more

This is my first experience with a derma micro needle roller. The product itself seems well made -sturdy and easy to hold and was securely sealed. The needles are firmly in place - no loose or shaking needles - and the roller moved smoothly. There were no instructions inside the box - just follow the instructions shown on the side. Not sure what I was expecting but boy these needles are sharp! A warning to be careful as you could easily hurt yourself or accidentally hurt someone with them. It left my face feeling quite tingly for several minutes - an unusual tingling that I’ve not felt before. Again, my first time using such a product - maybe I just need to keep using it for awhile.
