So microneedling is very tender in terms of correct technique, and cannot be done wrong or could cause permanent damage to the skin. This item does not come with detailed instructions. So I was nervous about using it at first. The quality is not what I had hoped for. I only used it twice, because it left marks on my skin, and I used according to directions. So in terms of effectiveness, I do not feel that it is as effective or functional as it should be. The size is good, because it is small and doesn't take up a lot of space.
