My brother put this ceiling fan up for me, and didn’t really have any trouble with it, but he does have some experience in putting up ceiling fans. This fan was installed in the same location as a previous ceiling fan. The colors are great and I love the brushed nickel finish. I also like the shape of the light globe itself. The fan puts out a lot of air movement on high, medium and even on low. It does what it’s supposed to do. My personal drawback of this fan is that on its lowest speed it’s still too fast moving. I wish it were a little bit slower in it’s movement to not move so much air around. It’s very quiet and looks very nice once installed. The only other slight drawback is that the pull chain for the fan, not the light pull chain, but the fan pull chain for some reason seems to drag slightly on the inside when pulling the chain to change speed. I read in the reviews were someone else had that same issue. I hope that won’t be an issue for breakage in the future. Overall this fan is a very good fan and well worth the money. Would recommend, especially for the cost of it. Have had it installed and using for about five months now. Read more
Love this fan! It's quiet and cools my 15' x 18' living room well. I bought three LED 40 watt bulbs and had my electrician install a dimmer switch for the light while putting the fan on a separate switch. If you buy this fan and also want to replace the bulbs, just take a picture of the specs, which are on the box and bring it with you to ensure you buy the right bulb type. Nice solid fan, doesn’t go together as others but works and looks great. One issue is the screws- the stationary screw that attach the shroud over the ceiling mount is too short to get started. Read more
The fan after the installation looks great, is quiet, stylish and moves alot of air. The installation was REALLY DIFFICULT!! I have installed 5 or 6 ceiling fans…the one was the WORST!! The upper cowling was almost impossible to get on…waaaaay to complicated and underengineered, and the instruction manual was HARD to figure out ‘part AA goes over part BB, then tighten C…’ kinda impossible to do over your head. And if your ceiling electrical box is not perfectly square to your ceiling there will be a gap at the top of the cowling where it meets the ceiling… took a few stars off because of the installation…it took about 3 hours👎👎 but now that it is up…I do like it, and satisfied!!
