It has a fun orange color (it says it’s gold, but it definitely looks orange). It contains a squeaker inside. It is easy to clean and resists sogginess. I love the idea of this ball, and it's a super cute and fun twist on a typical food-represented dog toy, for anyone who grew up eating or is familiar with Indian laddu. It's very small, 2 inches as stated on the listing. It's perfect for my tiny dog who loves to play with toys but literally can't get his mouth around bigger dog toys and balls. I don't have cats any more but I think some cats might enjoy this ball, as it's so lightweight and really easy to bat around. My dog seems to like it (in fact, when I got home from doing errands today it was in a different room than when I left, so I know he was playing with it while I was gone), but I can't say that he LOVES it. I can't really blame that on the toy as described, which is listed as producing "minimal noise." Turns out "minimal noise" is just not what my dog is into a lot of the time. That's great if that's what you are looking for, but it's kind of a "can't win" problem from my perspective with dog toys. If you get one that squeaks like a dying animal, your dog will probably love it because that it what he is naturally programmed for (I've recently had to just toss two balls like this that my dog loved because I just couldn't take the squeaking any more, which led me to order this ball). If you get one that doesn't squeak at all, it will save your ears but if your dog is like mine he won't be as excited about it. I was actually hoping for a "subtle squeak" as mentioned on the listing, but I would have to say that it has no squeak at all. This is the reason I had to deduct a star, as I was counting on the "subtle squeak" thinking it might be the happy medium here, but I can't say I can get the ball to make any noise I'd describe as even a mild squeak. This is great, though, for a little dog that likes playing with a small flexible ball that is easy to chew on and bat around, who doesn't need to have the small animal death squeak noise. Read more

Item is not as described and lacks durability it’s rough playing dogs, it was additionally not the correct size for our 50 LB mixed breed dog. The toy was destroyed within half an hour with our dog but due to him being a rough player and being able to also decimate KONG toys I cannot say this is necessarily a bad thing. Th e toy came with no squeaker and did not bounce well when you would try to bounce it. The material is a soft touch and the texture was nice in the hands but given this is for a dog that matters very little unless you intend to play catch at which point yes this product is nearly perfect for that with its texture. I have little confidence however that the ball is non-toxic given the god awful smell that it had at delivery. Be cautious if your dog shreds toys and also tends to eat parts of them as this was a concerning part to it. Last, the packaging was very single, just a open air plastic net and a cardboard tag. My dog destroyed this. Although it did last him longer than most, I think he liked the texture. Once he got a hole in it though he ripped it to shreds in under 20 minutes. I was disappointed I didn’t squeak, so was he. Upon reviewing the listing though it does state that there’s an air pocket so it does not squeak. It’s also very small. I have a French bulldog and I thought it would be good for him, but I had to really watch him because it was so small. I was scared he was gonna choke on it. I ordered this for a Belgian Malinois puppy. Interestingly, she would not touch it at first. Really. She would not go near the thing. She'd eyeball it suspiciously like it was going to sprout legs and jump at her. After a few weeks of observation, though, she developed enough comfort with its presence to give it a go. I have an almost 8 month old Jack Russell / Labrador Retriever mix puppy. After 20 minutes she had a hole in it. It didn't squeak either, it just sounded like air being forced through a small hole. I would not recommend for large dogs as it could easily become a choking hazard. Read more
