OK, this thing blasts heat like crazy. I ordered it expecting something much less than what it does. Make sure you don't put anyting too close to the front that could melt. I almost had a bad experience doing that. Fortunately, the back and sides don't get hot. It has a little switch on the bottom that turns off the device if it's not sitting properly. Because there's no on/off switch, I also use that feature as a main switch. My only wish is that I could adjust the temperature up or down. As it is, it's all the way up.
