Fantastic! I use this every day; it’s my iPad’s new home. Couldn’t be happier with the quality and functionality Read more
For reference I’m using iPad air 4. It fits with the smaller bracket. The stand can rotate and since the rotate mechanism isn’t a screw, you can rotate as many times as you want without worrying it’ll come off, which is very convenient. It’s also tall enough (even when my iPad is in vertical position) so I don’t need to worry about spilling my coffee. You might need to take off your iPad case though, since the bracket holds tightly to the device and the “hands” aren’t thick enough for my iPad case. But it holds very tightly The only thing I wish they’d change is that they have separate buying options for each bracket size, because it’s likely I don’t ever need the larger bracket and it’s a waste of material if they put it as an extra measure. Since the measurement for the brackets is accurate, buyers can just measure their own ipads and buy the bracket option that fits. Read more

The concept for the design of this stand is great, and the implementation is quite good, but a couple of workarounds I developed make it even better. The stand is very sturdy, and the weighted base makes it very stable. The spring-loaded holder for the tablet grips it firmly, and the vertical tilt mechanism is stiff enough to keep the tablet at your chosen angle even when gently bumped. There were two aspects of the stand that left something to be desired in my case. The shorter of the two spring-loaded gripper assemblies was too long to grip my 10.5 inch Android tablet in landscape orientation. With the tablet in place and tilted back slightly, the tablet would remain in place, but there was a gap between the gripper fingers and the top edge of the tablet of about a half inch, such that the tablet was supported by the bottom fingers but was not held in place by the top fingers. (I realize that the stand isn't designed for a universal fit for all devices, so this isn't a defect.) I came up with a spacer to place between the upper fingers and the top edge of the tablet so that the spring tension of the gripper would be applied to the tablet to hold it securely in place. The spacer I made consists of two used AA batteries end-to-end enclosed in shrink tubing. The thickness of the spacer is perfect to fill the gap between the fingers and the tablet edge, and the surface of the shrink tubing adds some gripping ability to help keep the spacer from slipping out of position. I used black shrink tubing, which provides three advantages: it is the same color as the tablet's bezel, so it's not visually objectionable, it joins the two batteries together firmly enough that they don't move independently, and as I mentioned earlier, it has a somewhat grippy surface to help keep it and the tablet in place. The second problem I encountered was with the swivel in the base. Because the surfaces of the swivel that contact each other are plastic that isn't particularly slippery, the swivel tends to chatter and intermittently resist when you're turning it. I tried experimenting with different amounts of tension on the screw that holds the base to the upper portion of the stand, but that didn't resolve the problem, so I decided to try lubricating the sliding surfaces of the swivel. I wanted to avoid using a lubricant that would tend to ooze out of the swivel, and I wanted to avoid petroleum-based grease because of the smell and the possibility that the chemicals in the grease might negatively affect the plastic over time. The lubricant I used is a silicone grease called AGS Sil-Glyde Lubricating Compound, which can be purchased on Amazon (ASIN B07Q61TGV4). I used my finger to evenly apply a thin coating of lubricant to the two surfaces of the swivel that contact each other and then reassembled the stand. It worked perfectly and continues to do so. The swivel no longer chatters or grabs at all when I turn it. I adjusted the tension using the screw I mentioned previously for my preference for the amount of tension, which determines how easily the swivel turns. When adjusting the tension, turn the screw in very small increments, and test the motion of the swivel each time you adjust the screw. It is relatively easy to find a tension setting that allows you to turn the swivel without causing the base to turn, while still holding the stand in position firmly enough to prevent unintended rotation. My vendor neighbor had this stand for her iPad, so I got the info from her. Great decision. The case I was using kept flopping over, but this device is perfect. It is heavy enough to be very stable and not turn over. It rotate or you can flip your iPad over for the customer to sign. Great product. Read more
I had another stand, which was "adjustable," with an Allen wrench, but it didn't swivel. This one has great articulation and height adjustment. I prefer my tablet be used in a landscape orientation, and this stand works great for that. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 tablet (9.7" diagonally) and it barely fits the landscape mount, but it does, and it swivels easily. Weighted base avoids tipping. Love it! Read more

The stand is very stiff and has a light base so it is difficult to turn and very wobbly when you touch the screen. It does hold the tablet very securely, but as I need to move my screen around a lot, it does not work for my needs. Read more
