Since I already have DeWalt batteries, this was a good addition for those few times we pour cement. It vibrates just like it's supposed to. Plus the rod is thinner so it doesn't get hung up on the rebar when inserted into a wall pour. The one drawback is that it's short. You can't reach very far down in a wall pour. But if you're doing footings and stub walls, this is a perfect lightweight tool with no cord to tangle. Read more
Package showed up and looked like it was dragged here from shipper behind the truck. Opened to find motor and shaft. Assembled knowing that it was missing the flex drive to make it vibrate just be sure I wasn't losing it completely. Didn't even attempt to vibrate as I expected due to missing parts. This was a great product for over 2500 feet of curbs and used each time. The curbs were 6 inches wide 18 inches deep. The vibrating took a bit of time from over vibrating to under vibrating and finally getting it just right. The last 1500 feet of curb was pretty much flawless front and back. The time saved and uniformity was great. We didnt need several guys using hammers beating the forms front and back. Just this mini tool that did its job well, but then my g/f pulled the trigger and kicked me out the next day. She stole all my 60 volt 12 amp hour batteries. While this tool is great for the job site. Never bring it into the house. 4 year update. I couldnt even calculate all the curbs and concrete I have vibrated with this thing. I know it is in the miles as well as walls and making sure to fill in voids. I 100% abuse my tools and this thing still is kicking. It is the best 350 dollars ever spent.
