I love this mirror enough to have bought it twice, but the port for the power cord (micro usb) is loose and has never been reliably functional whatsoever with either model from day one. It's insanely frustrating. I've got duct tape wrapped around the port to try to hold it in, but if you even breathe near it, it dulls the lights or goes out because it's not getting a power supply due to the crap port. As others have said, you can use aaa batteries instead, but they burn out in a day whether you've used it much or not. It doesn't store power from being hooked up, so it sucks having to deal with keeping the lights on. I've gone so far as to out y phone flashlight facing up under it because I couldn't deal with the every-2-seconds power/light loss and having to try to adjust the position of the cord. Read more
