These are not fleece style, they're the lighter version of sweatpants - I knew that but I see people search for sweats when it should be FLEECE sweats if you want to old heavy style - there's a difference. These looked great - less casual then regular styled sweats & more like pants - very important to hubs who was recovering from surgery & hates sweatpants look especially if he had to go out. But wearing his jeans was not an option that would help him during recovery. The open bottoms & cargo pockets made him feel less out of place. They're lighter so dealing with snow during his wear wasn't perfect for being outside for long. But the material was comfy. They've washed & dried well with no issues on shrinkage or anything. He's 6 ft tall but his legs are not as long as these so we did do a little hem. I think they've done pretty well so far - granted only a month but that's ok. He misses his jeans & belt - because you can't load your wallet, keys & phone into pockets on a drawstring & not think about how the weight might affect the pants ability to stay on your hips LOL Read more

These cargo sweatpants are extremely comfy. They remind me of the old-style Navy pants where the bottoms look like the sailor on the cracker jack box, with the flared-out bell bottoms. If the calf section was a bit tighter, they would be perfect. That's why the 4 stars. Read more
