these pants are gorgeous. I am short and and chunky. The leg length is slightly longer than 31 so it has a little room for shrinkage. The fabric is smooth and comfortable the rise is perfect. I am very satisfied with these. I ordered an updated pair with a seem down the front of the leg and I returned them because the fabric was course and the appearance looked bad, Because the waist is not tight they will be comfortable for holiday parties. The pants are nice and do fit to size on the size chart, which I really liked. Hard to find a good petite that means it. They didn’t shrink or fade in color after washing either so bonus points especially for the price and fit! The crotch for thick girls (like myself) pills a bit fast but no one can see it and I haven’t had any wear through yet. I’ve been wearing these for work for almost two years. With my most recent order, I realized the legs were a little longer with the regular and that actually makes me happy. I love them like that since the Long doesn’t come in the navy blue I need.
