These pads work great for my sore neck, back and knees. But I also noticed that using these pads has given me more energy throughout the day. I looked into it, and there is actually scientific proof that LLLT (low-level light therapy) increases cell ATP production. Boy do I feel it! I went a couple days without using the pads, and felt tired again (like I did before I started using them). Used the pads and I'm feeling more energetic throughout the day again! Flexible Easy to use You can make it as large as most people will need It is a bit subtle for the heating end but infrared is about blood flow and nitric oxide. I'm new to the use of infrared and near infrared therapy and was totally impressed with the simplicity ane easy to understand the initial set-up and use of the product right out of the box. My wife had knee replacement surgery 3 years ago and was having a flare up of excruciating pain which we were unable to control with heat pad, ice pack or pain medication.
