I picked up these Diaper Genie carbon filters hoping they’d help with diaper pail odors, and they made a noticeable difference almost immediately. They’re lightweight, easy to pop into the lid compartment, and they stay in place without falling out. The charcoal absorbs smells well—our nursery stays much fresher between bag changes. Each filter lasts several weeks, and they don’t crumble or lose effectiveness quickly. For such a simple add-on, they make the Diaper Genie work the way it should. Great value and a must-have if you’re dealing with strong diaper odors. Read more

After our last filters were gone, we needed something quick as the smell was awful! We got these and immediately put them to work. My house doesn't smell horrible anymore when throwing the diapers away. These are great quality and a great value. Read more

I use a bucket toilet when camping and taped one of these on the underside of the lid. I'd say it helped, not a ton, but any help with the smell is good! Read more

These are the only filters I will ever use for my diaper genie. They do the best, they last for so long, and it's such a relief! Before using them, my diaper genie smell was so intense, I despised throwing away the poopy diapers. With the filters in, it has never gotten to that point again. 10/10 would recommend! Read more

These work well and keep unpleasant odors at bay. They're supposed to be replaced once a month, so this pack should last for about 4 months. Incredibly easy to use, just open the plastic sealed bag the filter is in, and put it under the lid of the diaper pail. This has kept the room from smelling like dirty diapers, and after a cesarean section has definitely helped save unnecessary walking, or having to take the trash out more often than needed. They fit perfectly in the Diaper Genie pail I have, but with a thin piece or two of masking tape you could probably use charcoal filters underneath the lid of any garbage pail with a lid (kitchen, etc.). Wish I had known about charcoal for garbage smells years ago. Read more
