I landed up seeing this movie quite by accident when it came on TV. I couldn't change the channel. It was incredible! Funny to serious to funny again. Ending was unexpected as well as the entire movie. Never a dull moment. Very realistic to life no matter what your ethnic background! It's about life; good, bad, ugly, and funny. It's not about the color of your skin. If it was, I'd be the first one barking about it because there's enough of that junk in this world. Restoration Begins With Forgiveness

One of my favorite Tyler Perry movie's. The storyline was relevant and I liked the way the movie flowed. It didn't feel choppy. This movie makes you cry, laugh, angry, mad, renewed, and forgive. The power of forgiveness releases you from becoming bitter and angry. The character 'Helen' found herself during her greatest tragedy. She didn't know she had the strength to survive until everything was taken away from her. The whole cast was amazing. I'm grateful for Tyler showcasing Cicely Tyson so that the younger generation of actors can experience her amazing talent. My favorite scene is the last church scene where humility, repentance, & restoration takes place and the singing always brings me to tears. Good job Tyler!!! Read more
