Good for work. Not perfect.

After wearing a few weeks to work, I can say these are very loose fitting and very comfortable The denim seems a good quality. Sizing is perfect in the waist but length seems a little long. I wear a 30x32 and wish I had got a 30 length. I wear work boots so that might make a difference but it never has before in other brands. Giving 4 because of the length. Great for work especially for the price. Read more

Phenomenal. That's what I'm talking about but remember to order yours a size bigger

I really like it but I recommend to order a bigger size because this waist sizes run a little bit smaller. The quality of the pants is awesome . I will order some more because the price is totally worth it.. Read more

They skimped on the waist size. Otherwise: great jeans!

Great fabric, very well constructed. Got mine on sale, which made them a bargain. Only bad part: The waist is cut very small for the stated size. I wear 36/38 waist in dress pants and jeans. I ended up with 2 returns and buying 40s to get a good fit. The advertised length is perfect. So it looks like you need one size up to get a fit. YMMV Read more

Eh....

So full disclaimer, I've been buying Arizona Carpenter Jeans for probably 15+ years now because of how cheap they are ($30-$40ish, and used to be $20) Found these Dickies on sale for $17 each. Durability wise, they seem fine. But my size, 36x36, is quite a bit smaller than the Arizona equivalent. The Arizona jeans 36x36 will try to fall down without a belt on. But I am too big for 34x36. These 36x36 dickies are barely bigger than the 34 waist Arizona ones. So minus 1 star for that, because I should have gotten 38x36 from dickies to almost match 36x36 Arizona jeans. I lost weight this year from cancer and partial heart failure after chemo, so I was at a point where I was almost too big for the 36x36 Arizona jeans before all that. I am 6'5" and was 230lbs at my biggest, fluctuating from 215-225 area now from still recovering from my health issues. If I was at that 230lbs weight still, I most likely wouldn't have even fit in these dickies jeans at all. They are also relaxed fit, and they donfeel like relaxed fit at all to me. A good thing tho, the extra carpenter pockets are good size. BUT the normal pockets (that come on every pair of jeans) are pretty small. The corner of my phone shows. My Arizona jeans, I had probably 1-1.5 inches above my phone before the pocket ended. Also my phone and wallet are always in my left pocket, and with Arizona jeans, no issues grabbing either or putting them in, and I'd say very little issues doing so while sitting. Effort probably 4 out of 10 while sitting. I can literally make a fist once my hand is in my pocket WITH my phone and wallet in there. The dickies, my flat hand barely fits in the pocket with them to grab either out or put either in. And while sitting, I can barely get my phone out, but literally cant put anything back in my pocket. And a few times, it actually even scrapes and kinda hurts my fingers getting my wallet and phone out or putting them back in while standing. The denim is also very rough(why it hurts) compared to the Arizona ones. These just feel tight for their size, tight for being relaxed fit, tight hand pockets, and rough denim. Probably pretty durable because of the rough denim, but not worth the $13 difference from my normal Arizona jeans in my opinion. I'd be infuriated with these if I spent more money on them. They color is also darker than the picture(i know its for reference, but they are darker than id like them to be). I will not buy these jeans again. I'll be going back to Arizona Jeans next time.
