These are heavy duty work pants! The quality is excellent, the fabric is very comfortable and they have nice deep pockets. In cold weather, these keep you warm and the wind out. In summer, I didn't feel overheated wearing them, but I probably didn't work in them on extremely hot days. My first pair were size 4. After wearing them all day, the waist gets a bit loose till I wash them again. They do run large, but still are fine. Size 2 is perfect! Fits me like they should. I like that Dickies gives a lot of length in the legs. Being short, the length is too long for me, so, I fold the bottoms up inside the leg and that works fine and looks good. When gardening, my Moss Green Dickies don't show dirt and grass stains like my blue jeans. They wash very nicely too. My older ones faded some after time and washings, but I really like the color they became. Read more
The little bit of spandex makes them very comfortable, heavy duty material, lots of pockets. I like them so much I bought two pair. They do run a tad big but that's fine I like a little room, especially when doing farm work. I'm 5'4" and 145 lbs and the size 8 fit perfectly. Read more
First I will say that these pants are some of the best heavy duty pants I’ve purchased, ever. They are heavy, thick, and most important for women’s pants, real pockets! These pants are not messing around in fact the one issue you might have is just finding the right fit. Why you ask? Well if you are vertically challenged such as myself, you may be saddened to know that these do not have a petite option. And since they are so thick hemming is a pain in the keester, but don’t give up hope. As others have indicated these run big and they are not lying. I tried using the advise, I double checked with the manufacturers size chart, yet I was foiled! I bought a 36 inch waist and ended up getting a pair of pants I could swim in. They were so laughably large I could fit in one leg, so I went four sizes down realizing whatever you do, do not size by the waist measurements. Size by the hip size. That will be much truer and these do not taper in at the waist so so that will also pretty much be your waist size. At 36” they are still slightly big but others warned me they will shrink so that isn’t as much of a worry. They are still long as hell, but that is not unusual for me. 4 stars for some really good manufacturing, not 5 because the sizing chart needs to be reworked and a petite option would be realllllly nice. love these pants for work, im in construction so they work perfect for me. definitely will be buying again, theyre comfy, squat proof, pockets are deep and i love the side pockets. not too tight around my thighs, slightly loose around the waist, my butt and thighs are thick and its not too tight or loose. decently high waisted, they come up to just below my belly button (5ft7 and around 220 lbs for reference) the pants are warm too, i wore them with leggings under in 19-26 degree weather today and they kept me warmer than my jeans/leggings combo. not too long not too short, and its a good material, im excited to see how long they last me for work Read more

Edit #2. I took another chance and ordered a second pair in green and received another with skimpy fabric at the pocket and showing white pocket liner. I’m so disappointed in Dickies. I really like these pants and the pair that is made correctly is great but the stingy fabric around the pockets of the others is a deal killer for me. The difference between the fabric depth into the pocket on the “good” pair is an extra half inch. So congrats Dickies, you saved 5 cents on fabric and completely lost a customer. Edit: The second pair of pants I received in green do not have the pocket lining issue. Both pairs stretch out as you wear them and are a bit too big and long despite sizing down. I am 5’5.” Definitely going to need a belt with these but at least they give good freedom of movement. Fit is large, I went with a size 4 reg thinking they might be a touch snug but they are pretty loose and feel like they will loosen up more than I would like with wear. I’m a little “fluffier” than normal right now and if I drop any weight they are definitely going to be too loose. What I really don’t appreciate is the stinginess on the pocket fabric. They did not put enough of the heavy weight twill in the pocket opening so despite being a little on the big side as you wear the pants the lighter bright white fabric shows. It’s looks terrible and only happens on one side. I ordered two pairs and might send the second pair back. The first pair unfortunately I have already worn. Read more
