This digital camera was an absolute hit for my niece's 8th birthday! As soon as she unwrapped it, her eyes lit up, and she hasn't stopped documenting our lives since. It lives up to its promise. The photos are surprisingly clear, and I don't have to worry about her fiddling with complicated settings. It just… works! She's already got a portfolio of our dog napping and about a hundred selfies from her party. It's petite and lightweight, perfect for her little hands (and my purse when she inevitably hands it to me to carry). It comes with two large-capacity batteries. We charged them once, and she's been snapping away without them dying. No worries about mid-adventure meltdowns because her camera ran out of juice! My niece figured out how to use the camera in minutes because the buttons are big and intuitive, and the menu is super simple. She popped in the SD card and battery, and boom – instant photographer. My nine-year-old granddaughter squealed with delight when she opened this camera up for Christmas! It is her first camera. It comes fully equipped with cables, an extra battery and ready to use right away. This is a great camera for beginners. Her mother is a professional photographer, and this camera will help teach her how to take the perfect picture. It is nice and compact and has a nice design. Bought this camera for our wedding for the kids to pass around and take pictures with props. This camera is great for silly little projects, and kids wanting a digital camera to have fun with. It was super easy for the kids to use. The charge held great, flash was good, and it fits right into a small bag. Photo quality reminds me of the 2000's which I kind of love! I bought this camera for my daughter's 15th b-day trip, we were honestly worried that we would have some of the issues that others have encountered but I got to admit even with the issues we faced this camera is still awesome for the price and quality. Pros. ~ The picture quality is great, reminds me of the early 2000s videos you see on YouTube. ~ Battery is decent, lasts about 2 days with good usage, up to a week on and off. ~ Has nice little filters ~ You really need to play with it a bit to learn how the buttons work and all. ~ I had seen many reviews saying that the camera lost all the images but thankfully that didn't happen with mine and till this day it still works and has all the images on the camera. ~ Lastly, this is more towards the seller- This person is awesome! When I had my issue I contacted them and they offered to replace the camera, or buy me a adapter to transfer images. They were really helpful. Cons. ~ Some people have mentioned that they have had issues with their images being erased, thankfully that wasn't my case. ~ I did have some trouble with the camera freezing up at times but when that happened I removed the battery and put it back in, all was good and the camera worked again like normal. I got to admit it does become tiring at times, especially when you are trying to upload the images. ~ When I was uploading my images to my computer everytime I plugged in the camera it started charging instead of uploading, I don't know what the issue was but I contacted the seller and as mentioned above, they were super caring and understanding and offered to give me a new camera or an adapter to upload using the SD Card. ~ Audio quality on videos isn't the best. It sounds muffled and kind of hard, making it difficult to hear but the video quality is good. ~ Flash is just a LED light that you turn on or off, I guess it's better than having nothing but honestly it's kind of useless if you want to take night pictures. Overall, If you want a cheap camera for your kids, or yourself, this camera is pretty good and gets the job done. :) Read more
