Very surprised

I bought it as a cheap rest timer for the gym. Love the fact that after time completion, the alarm is fairly short before returning to the timer I previously set. The audible alarm is not obnoxiously loud, it's actually pretty tame, especially when the timer is stuck against something with the magnets. The magnets are not very powerful; they'll stick to the equipment frames fine, but it'll slide some, which isn't terrible. There's a little kickstand built into it as an alternative, which I appreciate. My timer did NOT arrive damaged; the picture is actually to praise the design. It feels fairly cheap, but tonight I got to witness some decent quality to it. I was distracted when I returned to the leg press, and before I could fully realize what I was doing, 320 lbs came down that rail as my legs came back and squished the timer before I could fully stop the descent short of usual depth. The timer screen flickered a little. I turned it off and back on; perfect. Keeps the countdown, no flickering, audible alarm works just fine. Very, very pleased. Read more

This is a piece of crap. The screen is so dim I can't read it without glasses, even with brand new batteries. Instead of having a flashing light when the noise is off, the already dim screen just dims more. I also bought a new one, and it wasn't new. There was hair stuck in the battery door and the protective cover over the screen had been peeled off and replaced poorly. Read more
