I'm shocked at how impressive this little scale is! I was almost giddy with how impressed I felt in my first few minutes of testing it out! Straight out of the box, it has a solid and durable yet "clinically professional" feel to it. The protective case itself feels like it houses some expensive triangulation device or something, and the rubbery-coated hard plastic material feels and looks more than efficient to protect it in virtually any setting. The metal scale (I'm pretty sure stainless steel) is professional grade. It's small and light enough for travel versatility, but it still has a decent heaviness and size to it. It definitely performs best on a hard, flat, and even surface - but the difference from other surface types is relatively small. When I went to calibrate it with the included 50g weight for the first time, it hit at exactly 50.00g on my table without calibration. The digital number screen has a bright orange backlight, which is a nice touch for easier and more legible readouts. It is powered by 2 x AA batteries, and although I wish it were a USB-C port and rechargeable battery instead, the first pair of batteries are included! Portable, solid build. Accurate and has calibration option if it ever gets out of sync. The scale is very easy to use and comes with a 50g weight for calibrations. The tare option is easy, just 1 click for measurement. I like the fact that the instructions are also printed on the inside of the cover because who ever keeps their instruction manual with them forever? If I had to point out a negative, the 2 magnets that are on the cover is not strong enough, so when you close the lid, it doesn’t lock/close as strong as I would like. But on the flip side, the top is easy to remove. So it’s both a negative and a positive. This digital pocket scale has some very nice features for its low cost. It’s high precision easy to calibrate. It comes with provided calibration weight. It closes up into a very nice package that has a very rugged look. The overall scale is lightweight itself and came enclosed with batteries, so it was ready to use right out of the box once those are installed. Read more
