I have been using this scale intermittently when I am shipping something new and need to know weight and so far everything seems to be very accurate. The post office adjust pricing of labels if you do not weigh and measure accurately and I have not had any labels adjusted so it is safe to say that this scale is giving accurate numbers. The biggest pro for me would be the platform size measuring 11 X 13 X 1. This has been great for my bigger boxes to fit completely on the scale. The screen which is attached to a cord has a pro and a con. Pro - you don't have any packages blocking the way of the screen on other shipping scales but the con is that the cord itself is rather short making it somewhat of a nuisance when you're trying to get weight. If they made the cord a little longer it would be perfect. The screen lights up when using which makes it easy to see the numbers. It has a sleek and modern design which looks great in my craft room. The quality is great. It feels sturdy and doesn't scuff easily. It is light in weight but not too light that the scales moves around as you use it. This scale has other functions that I don't ever use but it is nice to have all of the capabilities that it offers such as Hold and Tare. It operate on double AA batteries and so far I have not had to change them and it has been in use for over 6 months. Definitely worth it! Read more
This scale is simple to setup and use. It turns itself on whenever something is placed on the scale and then automatically turns itself off. It can be powered by USB or batteries. For my use, I use batteries. I am pleased with the accuracy, I've been comparing known weights of items (and people). One minor drawback is that, depending where the screen is placed, the cord itself can cause an impact to the scale zero weight, requiring a tare or moving of the screen. Another issue is the screen is hard to read at an angle. the screen has a little piece to tilt the base of the screen up. The perfect digital postal scale worthy of a small business! It's very easy to use, very accurate, doesn't take up too much space and works great! I'm not sure how much more I could say about it as that sums it up right there! Other than it works with two power sources, either battery for if you need it on the go or USB which is super handy. The digital display cord could be a little longer just for ease of use and to keep it out of the way, but that's definitely not a deal breaker. The maximum weight is 440 lbs, so it is versatile. Didn’t realize it came with batteries, thought I had to buy some so that took forever for me to review it. It comes with batteries and also a usb power supply cord. This scale is great! I had a few packages to send off and this gave me an accurate weight, had no problems at the post office. It’s easy to use, place the scale on a leveled surface (the ground, or maybe a table) then place your package on the scale.
