Me and my husband tried a couple of scales and none are matched in price and quality as this one. It can tell the weight well past even 660lb's almost up to 700lbs. I don't think it's limited like most scales so it can go past the 550lbs like I was looking for. The platform is bigger than most platforms and it's made out of metal and it's built sturdy for those who are extremely heavy. It can handle the weight and the scale is accurate. It can hold your weight if you need it to when you press the hold button for longer time and the numbers lock in place when you stand on it, not like other scales that go up and down that say you can use them to weigh the body at high weights but can't. We learned about this scale type in a doctor's office we go to for weight loss and we had to get one for ourselves. This is the best scale ever and the price you would pay in buying many scales your search should be over and just get this one, but do get the insurance as this only has a 30 day guarantee. YES! Go ahead and buy this scale. I have searched for a very very long time for a portable, accurate, fine quality, solid, non-glass scale. Check, check, check, check, check. Bonus is also plug in and battery! It is a perfect substantial weight, made of metal. IMPORTANT ALSO is the 15 inch large platform for my big feet! Lastly for accuracy check, I put 1 cat litter jug container weighing 20.5 lb on the scale, accurate weight is displayed on packaging. Perfect weight displayed. Next I put the second litter jug on scale. Perfect accurate weight displayed for the 2 jugs. In summary, no other scale on this site had all the features I required except this one. Happy so far, like the size/width of the area you stand on. Really like that it's metal and rated for 660lbs, not that we are anywhere near that, just that it should last a long time and be accurate for our weights. Directions are included to reset/zero if needed and also like the separate digital readout that's battery or AC with the plug-in adapter included. Read more

The scale is a little bigger and heavier than I thought, it is well built. Works good and seems to be accurate. The display is easy to read. The Only small downside is I would prefer a wireless display. Then again having the display on the wall keeps the scale in the same spot on the floor so I guess that is good. Read more

Package arrived open. No one bothered to even add a piece of tape to hold it closed. I felt so fortunate no pieces were missing. Props to USPS. Love the large platform. Accuracy is a little iffy, but close enough. The brief instructions that come with it say it’s a postal scale. Read more
