Works great for a plant humidity box
I purchased theses specifically for using as a humidity box for some of my plants. It fit perfectly on my shelving system. I did put one small hole in the corner of the lid and one hole on the nearby side. I positioned it one it's side so the lid was no longer on top. This was to allow me to crack open the lid and allowed me to make adjustments to the humidity level in the box. So much better than the plastic totes that some plant people use. I can easily see the plants inside without having to open a tote. I can enjoy them even if they are in a box. Great size (I bought the extra large) and much cheaper than buying an actual humidity cabinet made for plants. I did have quite a bit of difficulty getting the box apart for storage (I only needed three boxes). It's doable but takes a bit of time and patience to do and not break the tabs. Read more
