The minute I took this toy out of the box, my pup was eager to get to play with it. It comes with a pump and it takes just a moment or two to fill it up. It was easy to do that. She instantly loves this toy. It's great for tug-of-war and for a small dog to fetch and bring it back. The handles are sturdy and I'm sure I will have years of fun with her and this toy. Bought this soccer ball when our sport breed puppy was 9 months old and around 35 lbs. she is now 11 months and the ball is in excellent shape. I was looking for a true to size soccer ball which is the Extra Large size that our grandsons (who are awesome soccer players) could play with her. This ball is perfect for that and my husband and I play soccer with her as well. So fun and she is able to grab hold of it with the straps. If you have a dog that requires more exercise as we do, this is perfect. Our pup loves to run with the ball bouncing along, dropping it on purpose and grabbing to take off again. And her quick maneuvers make for a challenging soccer game! The quality is very good. The Extra Large size was just right for our pup even though the information recommends a smaller size. You play with this ball differently than a regular small ball. Not really an inside ball and best for a large yard. We’re lucky she has a whole field. My dog LOVES this ball. She really loves soccer balls but she would puncture them very quickly. This is the best idea. Although she has chewed a couple of the tags off (she's a Husky, she's a power chewer), it's lasted way longer than I expected and it's still going. The size is perfect. It's tough to kick super far like a regular soccer ball because the tags slow down the roll but it's still totally worth it & wears her out. I've been asked many times where I got it. Ok, this is seriously the best dog toy!! EVERYONE loves watching Tucker play with his ball. He loves us to throw or kick it across the yard, and we play tug of war with it, and he grabs the straps and has a blast shaking it like a wild man. He can chew away, being 5 mos old, and it hasn’t got ruined at all. Read more
The media could not be loaded. We’ve gone through two herding balls (18” and 21”), both destroyed within days because the seam made it easy for our dog to get his teeth in. This one is a big improvement since there’s no zipper or seam area — he loves being able to carry it around! I gave it 4 stars because strong chewers can still tear through the straps. We already lost one within an hour of play, so we now use it only during supervised playtime. Read more
