After a long journey I'm posting this in hopes it helps others like me. This is the ONLY tape that works to keep my hormone patch on and keeps it dry too. Everything else I tried gave me miserable itching & welts. I also had issues with other tapes leaking, wearing off & moving. This stuff is fantastic. No matter how much I move or sweat it's still there. One time I had forgotten which side I had my patch on and went about scrubbing my body in the shower, right over top of the tape/patch. When I realized what I had done and checked expecting it to be gone but the tape was still in place and had not leaked. Now, my patch stays until I am ready to replace it (twice a week) without wasting any losing them early. The tape dispenser is great too, I can keep it neatly stored in my nightstand next to my box of patches. These tear off in a size that covers the .075 perfectly. If you have a bigger patch this will still cover it fine with more than one piece. Instead of tearing them, you can cut them with scissors or layer them for wider coverage. I've done so and found even when layered they don't leak or budge one bit. Read more

The tape is excellent. Comfortable easy to tear to get the right size. Stays on for as long as you need it to. Non irritating to skin, hypoallergenic, comfortable. It just costs A FORTUNE! For the small amount you get, it's very pricey. I am continually looking for something very similar but more cost effective. Unfortunately for some strange reason, all other silicone waterproof, breathable tapes are blue! I don't want blue thank you. If you are sensitive to latex or adhesive this is a great product. No more itching or redness. Can be remove with no pain at all, stick well on gauze and skin. The only thing that calms, it’s a bit difficult to remove the protective surface to expose the sticky material. Great product it has its place in my medicine cabinet. Read more
Using the silicone tape for a few days after I had skin irritation from other adhesives was a relief. It held well without irritating or pulling at my skin and removal was easy and comfortable which made healing less stressful. I needed secure dressing during daily movement and it stayed put even when I was busy around the house. It felt soft and breathable on my skin which made after-care easier than with ordinary tapes. Overall, I really like this tape, but there are some downfalls. Pros... 1. It feels like second skin. When I use it, I can't tell I'm wearing any. 2. Fantastic for sensitive skin. This tape does not tear or rip my skin in any way. 3. Stays put. Cons 1. Expensive 2. If I don't lay it completely flat on my skin, it doesn't stay right. However, if I do it stays until I pull it off. 3. It's so soft that it easily gets bunched, which causes waste of expensive tape. I'm glad I found a tape that I can use, especially since I had a procedure where I needed it and still need it, but I've already spent a couple of hundred dollars on this tape in a few weeks. The quality is there, so I understand why it's so costly, but for that price it shouldn't bunch or need trial and error to get it right. Hopefully, I won't need it daily for much longer, but I will continue to keep some on hand because it's the best medical tape I've used. Read more
I’m allergic to pretty much every kind of medical tape or bandage out there (not sure if it’s the adhesive or the bandage materials) and this is the first one I’ve tried that *doesn’t* make me breakout in hives! This (and the silicone foam bandages by the same brand) has been a lifesaver for me while dealing with a complex skin issue (prurigo nodularis) where not having more allergic reactions is extra important. I also have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome so need tape that doesn’t damage/tear my fragile skin and this silicone tape is VERY gentle! My only complaints are: 1-It doesn’t stick amazingly well. Sometimes I can make it through a whole day but other times I have to replace the tape before the day is over because it keeps coming loose. However it does seem to stick better than the bandages of the same material so it can be useful for reinforcing those if they start to come off. It’s also worth noting that this seems to be a problem with every single type of medical tape I’ve ever purchased and this one DOES stick better than most others I’ve tried (paper tape, foam tape, etc). The only stronger tape I’ve encountered was whatever is used at the hospital. And that stuff DID rip my skin, while this silicone tape does not. And I don’t know if a stronger adhesive would cause more skin issues in those of us with sensitive/fragile skin. If that’s the case, I would much rather have tape that comes loose easily than tape that causes and allergic reaction or rips off a layer of skin. So the weak adhesive may just be a necessary trade off to keep this tape safe for sensitive skin. 2- I was surprised by how little there is on the roll. I just started using this 2 days ago and already ran out. While the weak adhesive is an acceptable trade off if it’s necessary to avoid skin reactions, it makes it even more crucial to have a larger roll since it means we’ll be replacing the tape more often. This size roll may work for the occasional scrape, but it would be nice if the roll were larger, or if they sold a larger “bulk” option for people dealing with chronic issues who need to bandage large/many wounds daily for a while. Overall though I am glad I found this tape and will continue to buy it since it’s literally the only one I can safely use on my super sensitive, fragile, reactive skin. Read more
