This microwave steamer is exactly what I have been looking for. I use it for steaming potatoes and other vegetables. I haven't used it for rice, but I am sure it would work great! what I like is I don't have to pull out my steamer basket and pans and go through the hassle of all that just to steam a few vegatoble. This little streamer makes life so much more convenient. Just add a little water and the lid, put it into the microwave and your food is steamed and ready to eat in just a few minutes. Its compact design makes for easy storage. Or for storing leftovers. Love it! Read more

This container is a simple design to cook or heat up food. The two side-handles make it easy to carry. The interior of the container is smooth which makes it easy to clean. I mainly use this container to heat up water. Without the lid, the interior diameter of the container is 6.5 inches (165 millimeters) with a depth of 3 inches (76 millimeters). The directions are completely in Chinese. I needed to use a translating app to convert the instructions to English. The translation is included in the photos. The lid is difficult to grasp with my hand or fingers. The top of the lid has a shallow circle which is slick and hard to grip. The lid doesn't snap or lock onto the container, so the contents inside are never protected from spills. Mine didn't come with a steamer insert as was shown in the product pictures. Read more
