To be honest, I'm not quite sure if these are great at teeth. Cleaning or freshening breath is my dogs don't get veterinarian teeth cleaning. However, the tartar and plaque buildup in their mouth isn't as bad as it could be. However, they still have dog breath. I will say that the dogs love them as a treat as they only get one per evening and they will always take this, as I have one that's a little bit picky.
