Dingo Womens Out West Embroidered Snip Toe Casual Boots Mid Calf Mid Heel 2-3 - White

I purchased these extremely comfortable boots in the camel color at a luxury department store and loved them so much that I wanted black too. They were sold out of my size in black, so I found them here on Amazon. The quality is very good, especially for the reasonable price. I am usually a size 7.5 or 8, and the camel in an 8 fit perfectly. When I received the black ones, they were a bit too big, so I probably needed a 7.5, but that size is sold out, so I'm keeping the 8. An extra pair of socks is fine. They are still very comfortable and don't need to be broken in. I'm 5'5", and they are the perfect height—not too short or too tall. These boots were made for walking and line dancing and so many more things! These are comfortable boots that fit true to size. The heel is just high enough for the western look without being so high that they are uncomfortable. The red roughout exterior is fun, playful, and stylish! I'm overall satisfied with these boots, the color is a nice red not too bright, the heel is the perfect height, and the comfort is there. I'm on the fence about if they were stored on a shelf that cause the top to wear thin or what is really going on? The soles don't look used but the inside at the top/opening the leather/suede is very thin and flimsy and I see a stitch that appears to be coming loose. It's weird because the rest of the boot texture doesn't feel like the top. So, I'll wait a day or so to see if I can ignore that flaw or send them back. The boots fit great I have narrow feet The problem is these boots were someplace sitting They were discolored they were not in the manufacturers original packaging They were thrown in just a regular mailing box The shoes were not stuffed with the original things that should be inside brand new shoes there was nothing inside the shoes at all I'm angry about that I was really looking forward to these boots, but I'm not going to pay $139 for used boots if I spend money I expect them to come in the original packaging impact the way they should be packed when you buy brand new shoes.
