This worked perfectly for what I needed! We were traveling, by car, and staying in a hotel for a week. I had a few events that required me to bring dresses, some longer than others. Many of these are a bit expensive, not to mention that I try to minimize ironing as much as possible when traveling, so I didn’t want to throw them in the suitcase. This garment bag was great. I was able to easily fit 5 (maybe more?) dresses, without any issues. There was no bunching on the bottom or wrinkling. The Velcro made it easy for the bellman to carry from the car to the room too. I was nervous that maybe the material would be thin and flimsy, but it actually is much better quality than I expected. Zero rips when zipping or removing items, or putting hangers in. Just received this. The material is like the material inexpensive tote bags are made of. It would NOT withstand going on a plane unless you hand carry and don’t check it. It will work well to protect and hold some clothes to take in the car on a driving vaca, to the dry cleaners or to store in the closet. Read more

Over the past year, I used this at least twice a month. Sometimes for just 2 or 3 garments, other times for a couple of dresses, a couple of pairs of pants and 6 shirts as well as 2 pairs of shoes (adult sizes). The pocket for the shoes is just starting to come apart on one side, but even so, there is no difference in how I use this. Overall, this has lasted far longer than I thought a $20 garment bag would last. If you are looking for a great garment bag for less than $20, this is what you are looking for. This worked well for a business trip. Wouldn't use for airline as it's too light but definitely fits the bill for car trips. At first i thought the hanger hole was too small but i was able to fit quite a bit in it. I would recommend some sort of tie to hold the hangers in place though so they don't slip down. Read more
